2. Sustainable Supplier Selection
We prioritize working with excursion suppliers who:
- Demonstrate a commitment to sustainability through policies, regulations, or eco‑friendly practices.
- Minimize environmental damage during construction and operations.
- Create employment opportunities for local residents and contribute to improving their quality of life.
- Include women‑owned or minority‑owned businesses within their supply chain.
- Develop and implement sustainable practices aligned with local government procedures.
3. Environmental and Social Responsibility
Excursion suppliers must ensure that:
- No excursions are offered that may harm humans, animals, plants, natural resources (e.g., water, energy), or violate social or cultural norms or legal standards.
- Activities involving private organizations without proper licenses for animal captivity are strictly avoided.
- Essential environmental and community protection standards are upheld at all times.
4. Wildlife and Animal‑Related Activities
For excursions involving wildlife or animals:
- Collaborate only with national parks, government agencies, or reputable international organizations recognized for animal welfare and conservation.
- Ensure all wildlife‑related excursions are monitored by local authorities and comply with national and international laws.
- Recognize that wildlife interactions must be controlled, respectful, and minimally disruptive to natural ecosystems.
- Provide guests with all necessary information from national parks or relevant organizations to ensure proper behavior and preparation.
- Acknowledge that wildlife sightings depend on seasonal conditions and natural factors.
5. Prohibition of Illegal Wildlife Trade
We strictly require that:
- All suppliers comply with legal requirements regarding wildlife protection.
- No harvesting, consumption, display, sale, or trade of wildlife species protected under local, national, or international law is permitted.
- Any excursion or activity involving such actions is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate contract termination.
6. Monitoring and Continuous Improvement
We maintain ongoing oversight of suppliers through:
- Offline follow‑ups, including periodic site visits.
- Online monitoring of supplier websites and social media platforms.
- Regular reviews of sustainability practices and updates to supplier processes.
7. Legal and Regulatory Compliance
Excursion suppliers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations established by local and national authorities, including but not limited to:
- Sexual exploitation of children
- Child labor
- Labor rights
- Protection of local heritage and culture
- Sustainability and environmental conservation
Suppliers must also comply with all relevant international conventions.
8. Child Protection and Labor Standards
We strictly require that:
- No person under the age of 15 (or the local minimum working age, if higher) is employed or engaged in any operations.
- All suppliers comply with international conventions and national laws prohibiting child labor and sexual exploitation of children.
- Children’s rights are consistently respected and safeguarded.
- Any form of child labor, compulsory labor, or exploitation is strictly prohibited.
Although some existing contracts may not explicitly mention child labor, all agreements include a general clause requiring compliance with local laws, which implicitly covers child labor regulations. Any violation, even minor, is illegal and unacceptable.
Any supplier found violating children’s rights or legal protections will face immediate contract termination.
We will continue engaging with partners to include explicit child‑labor‑related clauses in future contracts while respecting their required procedures.
9. Accountability
We are responsible for:
- Ensuring suppliers comply with this policy.
- Taking corrective action when necessary.
- Terminating partnerships with suppliers who fail to meet legal or sustainability standards.
