Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel on your private vehicle.

The capital Hanoi is best known for its thriving contemporary arts scene and French architecture, visible by many colonial villas scattered throughout the city.

In the morning, depart for a 1.5-hour drive to the ancient village of Duong Lam, a typical agricultural village in the north of the Red River Delta with over 300 houses built three or four centuries ago. Wander along Duong Lam’s narrow alleyways to explore rural life. Finish your tour at an ancient house owned by a couple where you can have a chat with the friendly owners over a cup of tea.  Drive back to Hanoi.

 Start the tour at the historic Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, an imposing monument lavishly built using marble and granite, and where the preserved body of “Uncle Ho” resides. (Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed every Monday & Friday, all afternoons and from early September until mid November). Wind your way afterwards to the Temple of Literature, the first University for the sons of mandarins.

Drive back to central Hanoi for a walking tour through the Old Quarter to enjoy the bustling local life, then cap off the day with a show at the water puppet theatre – a uniquely northern Vietnamese art form depicting scenes of rural life and episodes of national history.

Depart for a journey to Ha Long Bay. On arrival in Ha Long Bay, let the vacation begin with a lunch as the boat cruises towards South East Halong Bay. Spend time to discover the mysterious caves, tranquil beaches along the bay, as well as take part in some cooking activities on board.

Wake up early and partake in a Tai Chi demonstration which is held on the upper deck. And then enjoy light breakfast is served onboard. The boat weighs anchor to sail to some beaches, caves and fishing villages. You can choose either kayak or traditional rowing boat to go around discovering local life on the waters.

Bar opens for Happy Hour with buy one get one free on drinks. Enjoy a wonderful dinner on board tonight.

Another relaxing morning on board to watch the sunrise over the bay, with coffee, tea and snacks served. You can choose either kayak or traditional rowing boat to go around discovering local life on the waters. Return to your boat and relax. Enjoy the brunch before checking out. Arrive at the jetty late morning and transfer back to Hanoi. Drive back to Hanoi to take the flight to Hue.

Upon arrival at Hue airport, transfer to your hotel.

Ba La Mat pagoda was built in 1885 by the most venerable monk Vien Giac who was originally a mandarin at Tu Duc King’s court. Upon arrival, bring some offerings including some fruits & flowers (that your guide prepared beforehand) to the monks. Take part in a prayer ceremony for good life. Close your eyes while holding the candles and whispering your wish. After the ceremony, receive a keepsake from the monks, a symbol statue of happiness, to remind you of this special moment.

Hue served as an imperial capital to the Nguyen Lords, a feudal dynasty which reigned from the 17th to the 19th century. Drive to visit the Imperial Citadel, a UNESCO listed site. Despite being bombed heavily, there are some incredibly well preserved sections still intact and others which are being lovingly restored. Continue to visit the serene Tu Duc Royal Tomb, designed to blend in with its natural surroundings and built on principles of Feng-Shui.

Located just 10-minute drive from Hue’s downtown, Vong Canh hill offers an amazing view of both breath-taking scenery and ancient relics. Aside from the hill, visitors can head to Van Nien Water Plant, which is the oldest in the region and was constructed by a French architect following the oriental style. Wander around the hillside for a panoramic view of the mountain.  Enjoy a glass of wine over the magnificent view from the hill down to Hue city.

This morning, you will be transferred to Hoi An passing Hai Van pass, known as Ocean Cloud Pass, a 12 mile stretch of roadway between the cities of Da Nang and Hue.

Check-into your hotel on arrival and enjoy Hoi An walking tour in the afternoon.

Between the 17th and 19th centuries, Hoi An was a prosperous trading port. Today, this World Heritage-listed ancient town boasts well-preserved buildings, pedestrianized streets and unique cuisine, allowing visitors a glimpse of its illustrious past. The narrow lanes are ideal for a guided walking tour to visit the historic houses, pagoda and bridges.

  • The ticket is valid for entry to 5 sightseeing spots in Hoi An including merchant’s houses, Japanese bridge, Museum, Pagoda and Congregation Hall for 24 hours; however it is valid for entry to Hoi An town for as long as you are in Hoi An. It is a must you need to keep that entrance ticket at all times in case you’d like to visit Hoi An later in the evening or the next day in your own free time.

Surrounded by tranquil towns, beautiful rivers, and swaying water coconut palms, Cam Thanh village is a major food distribution hub for the surrounding countryside in Hoi An. Meet your guide in the late afternoon and transfer to the picturesque Co Co River. Take a bamboo basket ride along the river to enjoy the beautiful sunset scenery. Arrive at the bamboo watchtower, which is built on a rice field next to the river bank and has a cozy tent set up with a table ready for your dinner. Enjoy a memorable BBQ dinner made with local fresh foods and vegetables. Relax and enjoy the tranquillity of being surrounded by rice fields and a river. After dinner, take the shuttle back to your hotel.

Start cycling along Thu Bon River where you have a chance to take photographs of many fishing boats and small houses. Continue biking through Thuan Tinh Ecological village and take the opportunity to see areca-nut gardens, family shrines and local villagers going about daily life. Then keep on cycling along quiet inland trails, passing water-coconut palm trees, fishing farms and rice paddies to reach Cua Dai Beach. Stop at An Bang beach for a private lunch. Enjoy the most exotic moment together. Relax on the beach after lunch before transferring back to your hotel.

This morning, you will be transferred to the airport to take the flight to Saigon

 Upon arrival at Saigon airport, transfer to hotel for check in.

In the late afternoon, take a boat cruise on Saigon River. At the end of the cruise, watch the sunset over the city’s ever-changing skyline. Your vehicle will be waiting upon landing at the jetty and take you back to your hotel.

Formerly known as “Saigon” prior to 1975, today the city is Vietnam’s commercial center. Despite its modernity, Saigon maintains a strong link to the past and our walking tour takes in some of the city’s most historic landmarks. Appreciate the splendidly restored exteriors of the Saigon Opera House and the Notre Dame Cathedral, a red brick edifice with twin spires constructed from materials imported from France (entrance is only permitted when no services are being performed). Then head across the square to the Central Post Office, completed in 1891.

We then drive to Chinatown to visit the beautiful Thien Hau Pagoda, built by the Cantonese community in the early 19th century to honour the Goddess of the Sea. Take time to make a wish, write it on a small card and attach it to one of the incense coils according to local custom.

In the early evening your guide will meet you at your hotel and after a safety briefing you will join your driver on the back of a vintage Vespa and start your adventure. You will ride through authentic streets passing landmarks with plenty of photo opportunities. Arrive at the hidden cocktail bar down a quiet alley and learn about the nearly thirty different types of home-brewed gins. Enjoy a signature cocktail with light snacks while you hear the story behind this project.

Next drive through downtown passing bustling streets and a vintage apartment complex housing hundreds of small food stalls and shops. Arrive at a boutique cocktail bar and kitchen hidden down a local alley. A passionate chef and creative bartender, with a five-star hotel background, have teamed up to prepare a special menu paired with cocktails. After dinner return back to your hotel by Vespa or stroll back if the weather suits.

You will take the flight from Saigon to Phu Quoc Island.

Located off the tip of Vietnam’s south coast, Phu Quoc is a haven for nature and sea lovers looking for a place to unwind. The island is considered “off the beaten track” as it remains remarkably undeveloped. Phu Quoc’s virgin forests and pristine white sand beaches make this an ideal place for trekking, diving, and snorkelling.

Your Experience:

Cham Island, 15km off the coast from Hoi An, consists of seven small islands which are famous for their marine life and beautiful beaches. Take a 30-minute private speed boat ride for an insight into what makes Cham Island popular. Visit a traditional fishing village, a shelter for boats in bad weather and Ong temple, dedicated to a legendary whale buried here. For the adventurous, try snorkeling at Xep beach before ending the trip at Chong beach – a true oasis with white sands, swaying palm trees and a simple local restaurant where you will enjoy a seafood lunch. Later, cruise back to Hoi An.

Hoi An ancient town is a World Cultural Heritage boasts well-preserved buildings, pedestrianized streets and unique food culture. Hoi An was a prosperous trading port between 17th and 19th centuries, with most population were Chinese and Japanese, explaining why the main architecture of the town inherited Chinese and Japanese style. There is plenty to visit including the old merchant’s houses with influences from Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese architecture; the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge; the Assembly Hall of the Chaozhou Chinese Congregation with outstanding wood carvings; and the colorful market with stalls brimming with local specialties including silk, which can be turned into fashionable garments within a day or two.
