Khmer dance is an integral aspect of Cambodian tradition and identity. This afternoon, local dance instructors will lead a 90-minute class in which participants will learn both classical and folk dance styles. 

Try on a traditional “Kben” and get a taste of the intricate and nuanced dance methods that go into creating these stunning works of art (refers to the lower body cloth wrapped around the waist and then pulled back between the legs and tucked in at the back). This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to observe traditional Cambodian dance and music and to hear about the artists’ daily routines.

• You will be delivered a traditional “Kben” at the beginning of the class and turn it back after the class is finished. Please prepare a good T-shirt as your body need to be bending during the class with the artist
