Founded over 1,000 years ago, Vietnam’s capital city is rich in history, with the streets of its rambling Old Quarter dating back to the 14th century. From ancient temples to buzzing markets, Hanoi’s got it all. It’s basically the cultural heartbeat of Vietnam.

Day 2: Essential Hanoi and lunch at a local restaurant
You can have breakfast at hotel or walk out and visit a street food vendor/local restaurant to try a popular breakfast dish loved by Hanoians such as “banh my” or “Phở” (traditional beef noodle), or Xôi Xéo (Vietnamese sticky rice with mung bean), etc. While the foods could be similarly prepared by local chefs, street eating can give you an atmosphere of a typical morning breakfast among locals.
Spend half a day touring Hanoi’s colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards, and gorgeous lakes. Hanoi’s Old Quarter coffee shops offer a glimpse into local life. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, a marble and granite structure built to preserve the body of Vietnamese revolutionary leader Ho Chi Minh, known as “Uncle Ho.” The One Pillar Pagoda, built in 1049 from wood in the shape of a lotus blossom and supported by a single stone pillar, is Vietnam’s most famous pagoda and worth to stop at. Take a short drive to the late-11th-century Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university.
Have lunch at a local restaurant to try authentic Vietnamese cuisines.
In the afternoon, Explore Hanoi’s hidden gem—the Vietnamese Women’s Museum, this four-story museum invites you on a captivating journey through the lives of Vietnamese women across time. Back to central Hanoi for a cyclo ride through the scenic Old Quarter, where each street is named for its original wares, from silk to silver. Stroll through the interesting network of back alleyways, fronted by narrow “tunnels” or “tube houses” built to escape taxes depending on their street frontage, for a truly eclectic view into Hanoi street life.
Conclude your day by watching an entertaining water puppet performance, a uniquely northern Vietnamese art form said to have originated in the flooded rice fields of the Red River Delta where villagers entertained themselves by manipulating puppets over the water. The show uses colourful wooden puppets to depict scenes of rural life and episodes of national history set to music.

Day 3: Ha Long Bay: overnight cruise on tranquil waters
Depart Hanoi for a 2-hour drive to Halong Bay by new high way. A UNESCO Natural Heritage Site, Ha Long Bay covers an area of 43,400 ha (168 sq mi) including over 1,600 islands and islets, most of which are uninhabited and untouched. Board your cruise ship to admire the stunning islets that soar from the clear emerald waters of the Gulf of Tonkin. Towering limestone pillars and tiny islets topped by forest along with wind and wave-eroded grottoes add to the enchantment of this breathtakingly beautiful region. Stop to visit the caves, islets, enjoy kayaking and swimming over the turquoise water of the bay. This trip would travel a little far beyond Ha Long Bay to move to pristine Lan Ha Bay, a nearby serene and gorgeous extension of Halong Bay.

Day 4: Ha Long Bay - Hanoi - flight to Da Nang - Hoi An ancient town
Wake up early in the sound of waves and breeze. Join a Tai Chi class to refresh your soul and body under the sunshine as the ship continues to cruise around the bay, where you can witness the lives of local fishermen in the floating fishing villages. Enjoy brunch on board with sip of tea or coffee over the magnificent view of the limestones. Stay relaxing until disembarkation in the afternoon and drive back to Hanoi.
Transfer to Airport to board domestic flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, welcome and transfer to your selected hotel in Hoi An ancient town, which is only 50 minute drive from Da Nang airport.

Between the 15th and 19th centuries, Hoi An flourished as a trade harbor, attracting merchant vessels from China, Japan, the Netherlands, Portugal, and Spain. Well-preserved buildings, lanes dedicated for foot traffic, and unique regional cuisine give modern visitors a taste of this historic town’s storied past, which has earned it World Heritage status. On a guided walking tour through Hoi An’s winding streets, you can see old merchant houses influenced by Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese architecture; the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, first built in the 1590s by the Japanese community to connect them with the Chinese quarters across the stream; the Assembly Hall of the Chaozhou Chinese Congregation, with its intricate woodcarvings; and the colorful market, with stalls selling a wide variety of goods.

Day 6: Hoi An - Da Nang - Saigon - Saigon by night on River dinner cruise
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Da Nang airport to board domestic flight to Saigon.

Formerly known as “Saigon” prior to 1975, today the city is Vietnam’s commercial center. Welcome to the dynamic south. Day 7: Slices of Vietnam history via underground tunnels and landmarks - Local food tour and nightlife by Vintage car (Vietnam farewell)
Today, we’ll travel back in time to learn about the Heroic Past of Vietnam. From Saigon, take a 2-hour drive northwest to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels. The 220km underground tunnel system served as living quarters, communication and supply routes, and housed hospitals, food and weapons caches for VC during the American War. Enjoy a walk around the area to have a better understanding of the hardship and resilience of the Vietnamese during the war. Return to Saigon
Saigon is a dynamic city filled with culture and different lifestyles and enriched by its strong links to the past through its colonial landmarks. Visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, a red brick edifice with twin spires constructed from materials imported from France (entrance is only permitted when no services are being performed). Then, walk across to the Central Post Office, completed in 1891. Continue to Presidential Palace, the headquarter of the Southern Vietnamese Government during the American War. Drive to the War Remnants Museum to learn about story of Vietnam War. Be a part of Saigon daily life by experiencing Saigon’s street coffee before returning to your hotel.
In the early evening your guide will meet you at your hotel and after a safety briefing you will join your driver in a vintage 1970s vespa and start your adventure. You will ride through authentic streets passing landmarks with plenty of photo opportunities.
Arrive at a cozy cocktail bar and kitchen located on the second floor of a small house. A passionate chef and creative bartender, with a five-star hotel background, have teamed up to prepare a special menu paired with cocktails. After dinner return back to your hotel by Vespa or stroll back if the weather suits.

Day 8: Saigon - flight to Siem Reap - Travel by tuk tuk to local restaurant for dinner and Apsara Dance
Breakfast at hotel. Check-out and transfer to Tan Son Nhat international airport to take flight to Siem Reap (Cambodia).
Siem Reap, a resort town in northwestern Cambodia, is the gateway to the ruins of Angkor, the seat of the Khmer kingdom from the 9th–15th centuries. Angkor’s vast complex of intricate stone buildings includes preserved Angkor Wat, the main temple, which is pictured on Cambodia’s flag.
Upon arrival, get picked up and transfer to the hotel for check in. In the afternoon, visit Angkor Thom, the South Gate of Angkor Thom. Bayon Temple, built from the late 12th century to the early 13th century by King Jayavarman VII and consists of 54 towers, the Royal Enclosure, the Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Early in evening, you will be picked up again by the tuk tuk and then transfer to the local restaurant for dinner and Apsara Dance performance.

Day 9: Sunrise over Angkor Wat, visit Ta Phrom – Bantei Srei – Citadel of women
Watch the sun rise over the Angkor Temple to reveal the natural beauty of this area. Roam around and gaze across at the amazing scenery and unrivaled architecture. Stroll through the temple’s complex chambers and learn the site’s fascinating history. Return to your hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast, continue to visit the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm, which is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man’s creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature. In the afternoon, heading out of town, we make our way by traveling on a newly paved road to the intricately carved and well preserved temple of Banteay Srei. Along the way we make stopover at the Preah Dark village and we follow these with a visit to the Banteay Samre Temple adorned with impressive relief’s depicting scenes of Vishunu as well as Krishna legends.

Day 10: Siem Reap - flight to Chiang Mai - Wat Doi Suthep
Breakfast at hotel. Check-out and transfer to Siem Reap Angkor International Airport to take flight to Chiang Mai (Thailand). Welcome to Chiang Mai the largest city in northern Thailand, and the second largest in the country, often referred to as the “Rose of the North”. Founded in 1296, Chiang Mai served as the capital of the Lanna Kingdom. In contrast to the normally densely populated Asian city, Chiang Mai has the appearance of a large village—orderly, clean, traditional, and almost sprawling.
You’ll arrival at Chiangmai airport, be welcomed by your English speaking guide and transfer to your hotel. Room available from 03:00 PM.
Depart for the visit of Doi Suthep temple to attend the prayer of monks, which takes place every evening at 18:00 pm (17:30pm for holy days). This sacred moment will remain a unique memory of your stay in Thailand. You can even be blessed by a monk, who will give you a little bracelet to bring you luck. Take the opportunity to visit this famous temple, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, a landmark in Chiang Mai where sacred relics of Buddha are held in a sacred place in the golden stupa. The panoramic view of Chiang Mai and all the landscape around it is very beautiful.
Transfer back to your hotel after the visit. Overnight in Chiang Mai.
Day 11: Chiang Mai - Elephant Eco Valley Camp - Araksa Tea Garden Tour & Lunch
Depart from hotel to Maetaeng area. Arrival at the entrance of the sanctuary, change to local truck to reach the camp .
Learn about elephants in Thailand at the Elephant Culture Museum, the one and only in Thailand. Here, you will get a chance to feed the elephants herb ‘n’ fruit balls, bananas, and sugar cane, help with elephant poo paper production. Or get info on herbal treatments and make herb ‘n’ fruit nutritional vitamin balls—the elephants love them! Finally, you’ll watch elephants bathe under the waterfall. (Just watch or help wash them!)
Then transfer to Araksa tea fields, upon arrival at the tea plantation, you will be greeted by the staff, who will introduce you to our tea garden and have lunch at the plantation.
02:00 PM: our tea picker will lead you to the tea bushes where they will demonstrate how to pick the tea leaves. You are welcome to join them (we will provide you with a bamboo basket to carry during the tea picking activity).
At the roasting station, we will demonstrate the art of preparing tea by hand, from kneading to roasting the tea leaves. During the process, learn from your guide the different processes and methods used to cultivate young tea plants.
Then transfer back to hotel and arrival around 04:30pm.

Day 12: Chiang Mai - flight to Bangkok - tuktuk ride to Wat Pho
Transfer from hotel to Chiangmai airport, flight to Bangkok , welcomed by your Bangkok guide and transfer to your hotel , Room available from 02:00 PM.
Then depart from hotel to Wat Pho. By tuktuk, you will visit after Wat Pho Temple, which houses the famous Reclining Buddha (43m long and 15m high), which is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Bangkok. Wat Pho is also the birthplace of traditional Thai massage. Since 1962, it houses a renowned massage and traditional medicine school. Here you’ll enjoy 30 minutes foot massage.
Then transfer back to hotel. End of the day at leisure and overnight in Bangkok.
Day 13: Bangkok city tour - Grand Royal Palace, Flower market Thai Massage
Departure for the visit of the Royal Palace, founded in 1782 by King Rama I. The wall of the Palace protects an enclosure of 259 hectares. You will discover Wat Phra Keo Temple (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), which is actually the Royal Chapel of the Grand Palace. The Buddha, which measures only 60 cm, is the most famous and most revered statue of Thailand.
Continue to the biggest flower market of Thailand , named “ Pak Klong Talad “. It takes place every day and is open 24 hours a day. The place is a real firework of colors thanks to the wide variety of flowers that can be found in Thailand, coming from the different provinces of the country and in particular from Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai.

Day 14: Bangkok floating market - lunch - return home
07:00 Departure to the Floating Market of Damnoen Saduak, Thailand’s most popular floating market, which you will discover as a long tail boat along the river.
Located in the province of Ratchaburi about 1 hour from Bangkok. On the road, enjoy the landscape between the salt marshes and salt stalls in lush countryside. It must be morning to discover more authenticity and avoid heat. The parade of exotic fruit boats, vegetables, fish, crustaceans on boats will whet your appetite.
