Hanoi tales by cuisines

Today, meet with a young chef – the daughter of one of Hanoi’s most recognized chefs – at Hang Be market. The chef will show you around local market, explain the market culture and the use of Hanoian main cooking ingredients. Continue to travel to her house/restaurant in the Old Quarter for a hands-on experience cooking with Hanoi delicacies. The menu might vary from Cha Gio (fried spring roll), Nom (Vietnamese salad), Banh Goi (crispy dumpling stuffed with minced pork) and such, depending on the fresh ingredients the chef recommends for that day. Savor the dishes after cooking while listening to the secrets of Vietnamese cooking techniques that she has spent most of her life researching.
