Day 1: Siem Reap
Upon arrival, get picked up and transfer to the hotel for check in.
Visit the Tonle sap where we will enjoy a boat ride (private boat and guide) on the Tonle Sap lake. This is the largest permanent fresh-water lake in South East Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We will see a fishermen’s “floating village” with floatting schools, floatting police station, etc. It is same as a big village floatting on the lake, and the “village” move from place to place following water levels and curant.

Day 2: Siem Reap – From Dusk to Dawn (B)
Sunrise over Angkor Wat temple, The “7th Wonders’of the World”. World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology.
After breakfast, visit to The South Gate of Angkor Thom: Bayon Temple, The Royal Enclosure, Phimeanaka, Elephant and Leper King Terrace. Continue visit to Ta Promh (the jungle temple). There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man’s creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature.
Afternoon, visit to Thommanan, Chaosay Tevoda, Ta Keo: small, attractive temple in very good condition, built all the same time as Angkor Wat.
Continue visit to Bakheng Hill: Sunset viewing on the top of the hill. Bakheng is the first major temple to be constructed in the Angkor area; this temple-mountain offers extraordinary views of the Tonle Sap and Angkor Wat.

Day 3: Siem Reap – Phnom Kulen hiking and Bantey Srei, the women citadel. (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. A 1.5-hour drive north of Siem Reap will take you to Phnom Kulen, which supplies water to Siem Reap and dominates the skyline of the flat plains that surround it. Despite the fact that the tallest summit of the mountain range is only 487 metres high, Phnom Kulen still has a lot to offer visitors. Cambodians consider the site to be the birthplace of the ancient Khmer Empire. Purify your body and mind by visiting the Linga statue and the 8-meter tall reclining Buddha statue. Continue on to the River of a Thousand Lingas and the spectacular waterfall nearby. Optional to take a refreshing plunge in the waterfall’s stream and pool.
Then, visit Banteay Srei, constructed at the late 10th century by a Brahmin counselor under a powerking Rajendarvarman. It was loosely translated to citadel of the woman, but it is a modern appellation that probably refers to the delicate beauty of the carvings and followed by Banteay Samre temple. En-route stop at Pre Rub (turn the body), was constructed in late 10th century dedicated to Hindu gods. This reflects the common belief among Cambodians that funerals were conducted at the temple. Visit Preah Khan temple, built by King Jayavarman VII dedicated to his father. It is a huge, highly exportable monastic complex, and served as a Buddhist monastery and school, engaging over 1000 monks.

Day 4: Siem Reap fligh to Phnom Penh (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Pick up at your hotel and depart for airport for the flight to Phnom Penh
Visit Royal Palace is a royal residence now where His Majesty, the King of Cambodia, and the royal families live. it is like a small town of royal dynasties. Continue to Silver Pagoda, serves less as a functioning temple than a repository for cultural treasures such as 90 kg golden Buddha encrusted with 2086 diamonds and followed by visit Wat Phnom Temple is one of the most important pagodas in Phnom Penh. Built in 1373 on an artificial hill by the wealthy widow Daun Chi Penh. In the afternoon, visit the “Killing Fields” of Choeng Ek (15 km south of Phnom Penh). Between 1975 and 1978 about 17,000 men, women, children and infants (including nine westerners) were detained and tortured at the S-21 prison and transported to extermination camp of Choeng Ek. Next, visit Tuol Sleng Museum (S-21 prison). This former school was used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces. More than 17,000 people held at S-21 were taken to the extermination camp at Choeng Ek to be executed. Overnight in Phnom Penh
Day 5: Phnom Penh – Cardamon Tented Camp (B/D)
- Breakfast at the hotel –Transfer overland Cardamom Tent camp at Trapean Rung – Koh Kong.
- Disembark from Trapeang Rung Resort Pier at 14.00 on a 30 minute boat ride down the Preak Tachan River to Cardamom Tented Camp.
- On arrival you will get a brief introduction on the conservation and protection work of Wildlife Alliance and an explanation of how guests money is spent to protect the area from logging and hunting.
- Settle into your comfortable safari-style tent.
- You can go on an exploratory hike in the jungle around the camp, kayak or swim in our pristine river or enjoy our zip-line across the river.
- Relax at the riverside restaurant as the sun sets over Botum Sakor.

Day 6: Join in activities at Cardamom Tented Camp (B/L/D)
- After an early breakfast we embark on a kayak to the old ranger station, where we explore trails before walking back to the camp in time for lunch. The entire trip takes 3.5 to 4 hours.
- Afternoon is at your leisure, you can zip-line, explore trails close to the camp, swim in our beautiful river, or take a kayak along shady tributaries of the river in search of wildlife, such as Pileated Gibbons and Smooth-Coated Otters.

Day 7: Cardamon Tented Camp (B/L/D)
- After breakfast we embark on a Kayak and trek to an even more remote part of the forest, before returning to the camp for lunch. (Due to guests having different requirements, we try to be very flexible as to what we do on day 3. Also access to more remote parts of the river system can be affected by low tides.
- Afternoon is at your leisure, you can zip-line, explore trails close to the camp, swim in our beautiful river, or take a kayak along shady tributaries of the river in search of wildlife, such as Pileated Gibbons and Smooth-Coated Otters.

Day 8: Cardamon Tented Camp – Phnom Penh – Departure home (B)
After breakfast, transfer back to Phnom Penh International Airport for your flight departure.
